SELF MOTIVATION

We all aspire to do certain things that excite us but we keep waiting to do it for the longest time due to sheer lack of motivation.
Motivation in its simplest form means the force that drives us to do things.There are two types-Internal Motivation and External Motivation.
Most of the times we rely for motivation from external sources.This has happened with me.When I was striving to do something constructive,after learning basics of canvas painting came a phase where I was clueless how to move ahead in this field.All I had was very basic knowledge about painting and a goal to create best Artwork,which definitely wasn’t enough.Quite a frustrating state of mind where I was all set to paint but don’t know what to fill up the canvas with🤔
I almost gave up,but then obviously I kept motivating myself and kept on trying different forms and kept my creative keeda alive.Finally while exploring I stumbled upon a one day workshop with my Mandala Guru Pawan Aswani and then I knew it was thisssssss.Since Then Mandalas and Yantras became my fav muses.
But as I recollect,had I given up during that frustrated period I would never have been able to move further n still would be tired of contemplating what to do with life.
We all sometimes feel out of track 👣, lose alignment, defocused,wanting to do 100s of things but can’t manage even one,lack of enthusiasm and all of that.From my personal experience I can vouch that one needs to keep motivating ownself at every step coz NO ONE ELSE WILL. Many a times we rely on people we are close to for motivation or that push which will start the car,but sadly no one else will.If you are lucky enough you may find somebody to push the car but not everytime, even if you find somebody you might get into habit of getting pushed every time.Finally no matter what it’s only “I” “MYSELF” who will have to do the honours.
Please never wait for outside motivation coz you may just land up getting frustrated n loose the track.You may even land up feeling upset with near n dear ones for not doing enough.
Reading motivational books help big time,there are umpteen motivational videos on internet,setting goals helps,writing down does wonders,constant contemplating on doing what excites you the most,all these things are extremely helpful.People who are self-motivated will always want to give their best and also be willing to take various responsibilities.At any age,under any circumstances keep motivating yourself to get the out of yourself for best outcome.It may take some courage,patience,strength,positive mind set but it’s all worth it.
